We hope everyone is having a great day! I just wanted to pass along a few things.
Many people have reached out asking about First Friday Adoration, Stations of the Cross and Confession. As long as the church has to be closed, we are not having anything. We will keep you updated as we soon as we hear anything. I will continue to send out emails and update Facebook/Website.
If you have any prayer intentions or want your church community to pray for something, please let me know. This is a perfect time to continue to pray as a community. Although we can't celebrate weekly or weekend mass together right now, we can still pray and keep in touch.
We wanted to bring to your attention a scam that is out there and is targeting the Elderly. The scam is about getting tested for the Corona Virus and someone will call and ask for your Medicare information.. Please know, Medicare will never call you to sell you anything and you should not give out your Medicare number, a credit card number, or bank account number to anyone over the phone.
Also, If you are an elderly individual or know any elderly people that need help with groceries or medication pick up, please feel free to call (508) 308-0408. The WIC Youth Group will personally deliver these items for you. They have plenty of volunteers that can do these deliveries at all times. The form, can be reached at this link.
At this time, as we are isolated from each other, it is hard to keep a positive attitude. A wonderful parishioner sent me these suggestions which I found helpful.
Take a moment to celebrate what went well this last week. What do you want to do more of?
Take a moment to grieve what you miss. What just doesn't feel the same?
Take a moment to pray for your people. What do they need?
Take a moment to breathe before you enter this next week. How will you make space to be renewed by God.
Please enjoy the rest of your day and please reach out if you need anything.
