SEPTEMBER 3, 2021
"There are in truth three states of the converted: the beginning, the middle, and the perfection. In the beginning they experience the charms of sweetness; in the middle the contests of temptation; and in the end the fullness of perfection."
— Pope St. Gregory the Great

Worcester Public Schools Sex Ed. This Spring the Worcester School Committee adopted a very problematic K-12 sex education curriculum for the Worcester Public Schools. The curriculum, Rights, Respect, Responsibility is explicit, age inappropriate and without an adequate moral grounding. It will be taught in all grades beginning with Kindergarten this Fall. Under Massachusetts law, parents have the right to opt their children out of sex-ed programs. Bishop McManus is urging parents of Worcester Public School Students to review the Rights, Respect, Responsibility curriculum (http://3rs.org/3rs-curriculum/3rs-curric-search/) and to consider opting their children out. For opt out forms, please visit https://worcesterschools.org/sexual-health-education-curriculum-information-sessions/ or ask your parish for a hard copy. Thank you.
VERSE OF THE DAY" For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined he also called; and those he called he also justified; and those he justified he also glorified. What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
The Ladies Guild Meeting will be Monday, September 20th
